Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam and also a city rich in cultural and historical values. You can choose a half-day tour in Hanoi starting in the morning or afternoon. You will visit the highlights in Hanoi such as Hanoi Old Quarter, Temple of Literature, and Tran Quoc Pagoda.

Our tour guide will pick you up at the hotel and begin our tour at Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, is on a small island in West Lake. Founded in the 6th century, it features a 15-meter tall lotus tower. Its serene surroundings offer a peaceful retreat from the city’s hustle and bustle.

Heading to visit Visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, founded in 1070. Dedicated to Confucius, it features five courtyards, beautiful gardens, and ancient pavilions. Highlights include the Well of Heavenly Clarity and the Stelae of Doctors.

Next stop is St. Joseph’s Cathedral, an iconic Gothic Revival church built in 1886. Admire its stunning architecture, characterized by tall towers, stained glass windows, and intricate detailing. The peaceful ambiance offers a serene start to your tour.

After that we visit Dong Xuan Market, established in 1889, is a bustling market in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. It offers a wide range of goods, from clothing to traditional foods, making it a must-visit spot for an authentic Hanoi experience.

We keep moving to Long Bien Bridge, built in 1902 by the French, is an iconic symbol of Hanoi. Spanning the Red River, it was once one of the longest bridges in Asia. Despite damage from wartime bombings, it stands as a testament to Vietnam’s resilience and history.

Finally, we will visit Train Street to enjoy egg coffee, a must-try in Hanoi, and watch the train pass by the Old Quarter. Train Street is famous for its railway running inches from doorsteps. Train times can be unpredictable, so you might get lucky and see the train.

After that the tour guide will then take you back to the hotel and end your half-day city tour.
